Each CA1 cell type is drawn as a real published reconstruction of its own type from NeuroMorpho.org (Ascoli et al., 2007) — one reconstruction per type, no stand-ins. The shapes are representative of the type, not the individual modelled cell (the scaffold stores soma positions only). Display spacing and shape size are visual controls — the layout is not to anatomical scale. "Draw every neuron" renders a sampled subset as full morphologies and the remainder as points. Per-type NeuroMorpho IDs are shown in the legend and listed in CA1_morphology_sources.md.
